Company Description
Sterling Home is Scotland’s largest independently owned home of inspiration, providing a wide range of furniture and homewares for every room in the home. Our flagship store is located in Tillicoultry, with an additional eight stores across Scotland. Our larger stores feature departments for Interior Design, Flooring, Bathroom Design, and Homestores, along with on-site restaurants and free parking. Our comprehensive website offers a variety of products and information on our local stores and their opening times.
Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Salesperson located in Uddingston. The Salesperson will be responsible for assisting customers, providing product knowledge, processing sales transactions, and maintaining the presentation of the sales floor. The Salesperson will also engage in upselling and cross-selling of products, resolving customer inquiries, and collaborating with the team to meet sales targets and deliver excellent customer service.
Qualifications
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Experience in retail sales and customer service
* Knowledge of furniture and homewares is a plus
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Basic computer skills for processing sales transactions
* Problem-solving skills and customer-focused mindset
* Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
