Are you looking for a new and challenging opportunity to progress your career in the Service Desk environment?

I am looking for 3 Analysts to join an established Service Desk, working on-site at my client's location in Exeter, to provide the first point of contact for incoming technical queries to their varied user base who are office, home and field-based.

Previous experience in a Service Desk or technical support role and a willingness to undergo ongoing training to become part of an exceptional support function will be rewarded. Candidates who are engaging and customer-friendly, have great time-management abilities, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills will be the starting point for this role.

You will provide a high level of customer service along with technical assistance, so someone friendly, approachable and helpful, whilst being able to perform under pressure is important.

You will need a solid understanding of Windows 10/11, O365, Outlook and Active Directory administration. Experience in SCCM, InTune, Citrix, VPN and supporting mobile phones, tablets and printer issues, along with an understanding of diagnosing network issues, will be useful.

Any qualifications or certifications such as CompTIA, ITIL or MCP would be desirable.

An example of tasks would be:

Handling multiple service requests

Diagnosing and resolving issues at first contact

Wi-Fi and password setup

Help with printing issues

Searching for answers to queries in the knowledge base and wider resources.

Logging all calls via the Service Management tool (ServiceNow) and resolving or triaging appropriately.

Key Skills/Experience:

Previous experience in a Service Desk / Helpdesk / IT support environment will be ideal.

And a sound knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10/11, Office 365 and Active Directory will be a great starting point for training.

The offices are within easy access of train and bus routes, and there is also plenty of free on-site parking available, as well.
