The University of Southampton seeks enthusiastic individuals to join the Mechanical Engineering department. You will integrate into existing research groups and may contribute to the Southampton Advanced Manufacturing and Design Hub (SAMDH). Your expertise should align with strategic growth areas such as:
* Future mobility, automotive wear, dynamics, propulsion, and future fuels.
* Thermofluidic and cryogenic systems for storage, transport, and energy.
* Advanced manufacturing, data-centric and AI-assisted design.
* Mechatronics and bio-engineering, including control systems, robotics, tissue surrogates, and stretchable electronics.
