Hours: 40 per week
A private day school for girls in Guildford for students aged 4 to 18 years. Catering for about 1000 students and teachers daily. We offer core meals including AM snack, Lunch, PM snack, and match teas with some hospitality. The location benefits from excellent transport links.
We are seeking a talented Chef De Partie to join our team at our prestigious Guildford location.
You should have previous experience working in a fast-paced kitchen at CDP or junior sous chef level.
You will be excited to work with fresh seasonal ingredients and regularly changing bespoke menus. Creativity and skill showcase are encouraged.
Key responsibilities:
1. Work effectively within a team of chefs providing catering services to pupils and teachers.
2. Prepare food using fresh ingredients, cooking from scratch, following company standards.
3. Adhere to food standards and control wastage.
4. Follow Food Hygiene, Health & Safety policies, and allergen control procedures.
Skills required:
1. Genuine interest in food and excellent customer service.
2. Strong team player.
3. Passion and innovation for great food.
4. Organized with attention to detail.
5. Understanding of food cost and wastage basics.
6. Good verbal and written English skills.
7. Experience in customer service or food preparation environments is preferred.
