Who You’ll Be Supporting:
At Unicare, we provide 24/7 supported living for adults aged 18–64 who have:
- Autism and learning disabilities
- Complex trauma and mental health challenges
- Behaviours that challenge
- High support needs with personal care, daily living, and emotional regulation
Each resident requires consistent, structured, and person-centred support to thrive in a safe and respectful environment.
What You’ll Do:
As a Support Worker, you will:
- Provide 1:1 personal care, emotional support, and life skills coaching
- Support individuals with hygiene, nutrition, medication, and managing routines
- Accompany residents to appointments, community activities, education, and volunteering
- Promote independence while ensuring safety and safeguarding at all times
- Help manage risks including self-neglect, emotional distress, and social vulnerability
What We’re Looking For:
- Kind, calm, and resilient individuals with a heart for care
- Experience supporting people with autism, LD, or mental health needs (desirable)
- Willingness to train in:
* Positive Behaviour Support (PBS)
* Trauma-Informed Practice
* Safeguarding & lone working protocols
* Medication & daily living support
