Join My Team Support Workers Wanted in Salisbury, Wiltshire Hi, Im Sebastian! Im in my mid-twenties, Ive got a great sense of humour, I love my electric guitar, and Im always up for a good concert, I am in an online choir and enjoy online music groups. Im looking for energetic, caring, and reliable people to join my support team and help me live life to the fullest. Location: Salisbury, Wiltshire Hours: Bank hours available on a 2-week rolling rota. Shifts include weekdays and weekends, days (07:4519:00) and waking nights (19:0008:00). 24-hour on call shifts available for holidays. Pay and Benefits: £15.15/hour (Monday to Friday days and waking nights) £17.58/hour (Saturday and Sunday and waking nights) On call, £25 for 12 hours, Loco Parentis. If called in to cover a shift, the shift will be paid at 1.5 x appropriate rate 5.6 weeks annual leave (pro rata) Pension (subject to qualifying status) Employee Assistance Programme DBS check, full induction, and ongoing training (including The Care Certificate) Support from a dedicated Case Manager and HR team About the Role: I have Cerebral Palsy and Im non-verbal, but I use eye gaze technology to communicate. I also receive all my food and fluids through a PEG, and full training will be provided for this. Youll be working mainly in my family home, helping me with all aspects of daily living, keeping track of medical supplies, and planning activities I enjoy. I need 2:1 care 24/7, so youll always be working alongside another team member. You might even get to come on holiday with me! A heads-up: I live with a cat, who lives in the main part of the house. Driver desirable: Youll need to drive my Wheelchair Adapted Vehicle (automatic), so a full UK driving licence is desired. What Im Looking For: Someone with energy, patience, and a positive attitude Experience supporting adults with complex care needs Awareness of emotional, behavioural, and cognitive needs Willingness to learn and grow with on-the-job and professional training Proof of eligibility to work in the UK Bonus Points If You Have: An interest in therapy and personal development Playing a guitar or a music lover Interviews & Start Date: Were interviewing as applications come in and will be held as face-to-face interviews.
