About the role:
An exciting, challenging and rewarding long-term career opportunity has arisen for a Warehouse Person to join our existing Distribution team at Glasdon UK Limited, Blackpool.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
* Receive, inspect, and record incoming deliveries; ensure accurate stock handling and storage.
* Prepare and dispatch outgoing goods; ensure correct packaging, documentation, and timely shipment.
* Carry out local deliveries as required, ensuring safe and professional customer service.
* Assist with inventory checks and maintain accurate stock records.
* Keep the warehouse clean, safe, and well-organised.
* Flexibility to support other warehouse tasks as needed.
* Manual handling and working in varying warehouse conditions.
Ideal Candidate Background:
* Good attention to detail.
* Reliable with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
* Practically minded.
* A confident person with good communication skills.
* Good literacy and numeracy skills.
* Basic knowledge of IT literacy.
* Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution environment preferred.
* Must hold a valid RITIB or Counterbalance Forklift Truck Certificate.
* Must hold a valid Full UK driving license.

Terms and Conditions:
* Full-time, permanent position.
* Monday to Friday, 8.00am to 4.30pm.
* 30-minute lunch break plus 10-minute morning and afternoon breaks.
