Principal Mechanical Engineer

Skills and Experience We Are Looking For
* Degree‑qualified Mechanical Engineer (2:1 or higher) with significant experience in complex products across the whole life cycle.
* Expertise in full product lifecycles, from concept to production, ideally with electro‑mechanical systems.
* Hands‑on experience with 3D CAD (Autodesk Inventor preferred) and FEA (Ansys desirable).
* Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to work autonomously in a fast‑paced, agile environment.
* Experience mentoring others and shaping engineering best practice across a team.
* Ability to make confident engineering decisions, balancing risk, speed, and quality.
* Comfortable collaborating with electronics, software, and systems engineers to deliver integrated solutions.
* Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work to tight deadlines and budgets.
