We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Master Technician to join our busy HGV transport workshop. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong technical expertise, leadership ability, and a passion for keeping vehicles on the road to the highest standard.
This role is based on a 7:00am – 5:00pm schedule, though we are open to discussing alternative arrangements for the right applicant.
Hourly rate: Up to £23 dependent on experience.

Responsibilities for the job role:
* Diagnostics, fault finding and repair of vehicle electrical systems
* Undertake timely repairs of HGVs in accordance with manufacturer technical standards and timeframes.
* Offer Technical advice to workshop technicians with a strong focus on training & development.
* Identify & diagnose defects on vehicles and ancillary equipment, including mechanical and electrical issues.
* Carry out 6 weekly inspections to a high standard, ensuring all defects are identified and repaired, with a strong focus on ‘first time fix’.
* Inspect and prepare vehicles for MOT, ensuring all vehicles exceed the standard required.
* Carry out electrical repairs on a range of specialist commercial vehicles.
* Repair ‘damage’ defects to a high standard with a focus on upholding our brand image.
