We are currently seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our clients team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating computer numerical control (CNC) machines to produce high-quality components.
Working in a team of engineers making intricate plastic parts for different types of industry, the business is a leading manufacturer of custom plastic components, who have and will continue to invest in new machines, processes and their team to ensure that they keep the lead within their niche.
Duties:
- Set up and operate CNC machines according to specifications
- Read and interpret technical drawings to determine machine set-up and production methods
- Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and accuracy of components
- Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment
- Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to specifications
- Troubleshoot machine errors and perform adjustments as needed
We are looking for.
Self-Starter with the ability to work on their own initiative.
Experience in producing precision plastic parts
Able to operate and programme Citizen, Truimph, Mayano and HAAS machines
Sliding and fixed head CNC experience
38.75 Working hours on days + overtime - shift work between 06:00 - 20:00 early finish every Friday
