The role There now exists an opportunity for a UK qualified solicitor with experience of non-contentious construction law, to work within the integral In-house legal team; Day to day responsibilities will include; Providing sound and timely legal and commercial advice to mitigate commercial and contractual risks on the company’s global portfolio of projects. Reviewing, reporting on, negotiating and finalising a wide range of contractual documentation (including but not limited to consultancy appointments and sub-consultancy agreements, collateral warranties, novation agreements, letters of intent). Advising the business to ensure that the company’s governance policies are adhered to in contract negotiations and assisting to make a case for any deviations to the governance policies where necessary. Assisting the business in the proper operation and administration of its contracts and legal framework. The person The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years PQE gained in construction or projects law, ideally non-contentious, along with demonstrable experience in general commercial law. Keen problem solving skills are essential, as is a commercial mindset and ability to communicate effectively to a range of stakeholders. The Package Hybrid working arrangements.
