As we continue to expand across Hucknall and the surrounding areas, we are looking for experienced and compassionate SEN Teachers to join our team. This is a highly rewarding opportunity to work with students who benefit from a personalised and flexible teaching approach. About the Role You will work outside the traditional classroom setting, delivering one-to-one or small group sessions in learners’ homes or local educational environments. Your support will help learners re-engage with education, build confidence, and make meaningful academic progress. Lessons are carefully planned to meet the needs of each student, often involving close collaboration with families, schools, and other professionals. Key Responsibilities Deliver high-quality, tailored tuition to learners with a range of SEND and/or SEMH needs Adapt teaching approaches to suit individual learning styles, abilities, and support plans Use creative and flexible methods to overcome learning barriers Provide clear, constructive written feedback after each session Travel to student locations in and around Hucknall Maintain high standards of safeguarding and child protection at all times What We’re Looking For Qualified teacher with experience working with SEND and/or SEMH learners Strong understanding of individual education plans (IEPs) and EHCPs Patient, empathetic, and resilient approach to teaching Confident in delivering engaging lessons in non-traditional settings Up-to-date safeguarding training Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one) What We Offer Flexible working hours to fit around your availability Competitive hourly rates: £25 to £30 The opportunity to make a real impact on learners' lives Professional support from the TP Tutors team A rewarding and meaningful teaching role outside the mainstream classroom Apply Now If you're an experienced SEN teacher who is passionate about inclusive education and supporting learners with additional needs, we would love to hear from you.
