Salary: Up to £20,968.00 depending on experience (FTE £41,937). Hours: 17.5 per week. Contract: Permanent. Site: Nelson and Colne College. Closing Date: Midnight, Thursday 4th June 2026. Interview Date: Friday 12th June 2026.

What The Maths Division Aims To Do
* Provide a highly ambitious curriculum that inspires students to achieve their very best.
* Ensure a high‑quality math provision with excellent teaching, learning and assessment.
* Support students to achieve excellent outcomes and progress onto their next steps.
Responsibilities
* Develop schemes of work, lesson plans and teaching resources.
* Build strong relationships with learners to improve retention, attendance and success rates.
* Shape the curriculum to best meet students’ needs and deliver GCSE and Functional Skills Maths.
* Collaborate with colleagues across sites as required.
Qualifications
* Experience teaching maths in a Further Education, Apprenticeship or Secondary setting.
* Teaching qualification.
* Degree in Maths or an associated subject, or an alternative degree with A Level Maths.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
* Passion for the subject and ability to inspire and motivate.
