Are you passionate about education and eager to make a difference in the lives of young learners? Sir Alexander Fleming Primary School and Nursery is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support our committed teaching staff and help foster a positive learning environment for all pupils.
Key Responsibilities:
* Work closely with class teachers to support the delivery of high-quality lessons.
* Assist individual students or small groups with their learning, including those with additional needs.
* Help create a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment.
* Support students’ emotional, social, and educational development.
* Assist with classroom preparation, displays, and administrative tasks.
* Supervise pupils during non-classroom activities (e.g., playtime, lunchtime supervisor)
We’re Looking For Someone Who:
* Has a genuine passion for working with children.
* Possesses excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* Is patient, reliable, and highly motivated.
* Ideally has prior experience in a school setting or relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 TA qualification) – though training can be provided.
