With access to Kier's impressive £11bn+ project pipeline, including mega projects like High Speed 2 and Hinkley Point C, you’ll be part of exciting frameworks with national and local government and a variety of other engaging projects.
Your Role and Responsibilities
As our Drainage and Water Design Manager, you will:
* Lead and nurture a talented team of 35 across multiple locations, fostering collaboration and mentorship.
* Manage complex project portfolios, overseeing programmes, budgets, and risks.
* Build and maintain strategic client relationships to support growth and service development.
* Ensure design outputs meet quality standards, regulations, and client expectations.
* Drive innovation and improvement initiatives to enhance our capabilities and efficiency.
What We’re Looking For
This role is perfect for you if you:
* Have experience leading and developing design teams with a supportive leadership style.
* Are skilled in managing programmes, budgets, and risks across complex engineering projects.
* Possess excellent relationship-building abilities and communication skills.
* Have a track record of delivering high-quality engineering solutions in the Building & Development, Transportation, or Water sectors.
* Hold a full UK driving licence and are willing to travel to various team locations as needed.
Working Conditions
Location: Exeter, Ipswich, Salford, Speke, or Wymondham - with remote working options available and occasional travel to the office required.
