The Perse School is seeking an IT Support Technician to join our expanding IT department. This key role involves handling daily technical queries and supporting senior team members with various technical projects.
About the Department:
The IT Department, led by the IT Director, comprises two overlapping teams. We utilize a broad range of enterprise technologies, including VMWare, Veeam, Microsoft 365 (such as InTune and PowerApps), cybersecurity monitoring software, and other on-premises and cloud technologies. The department manages and supports a variety of client devices, including student laptops, staff desktops, and other equipment.
Role Responsibilities:
* Providing excellent support to the school community, including setting up equipment, troubleshooting issues, and offering technical advice.
* Supporting all three schools within the institution.
* Participating in IT projects and gaining exposure to enterprise technologies while managing daily responsibilities.
Candidate Requirements:
Flexibility in approach and the ability to work independently or as part of a team are essential. The role offers opportunities to engage with enterprise-level projects and technologies.
