We're currently recruiting full-time or part-time permanent Waking Night Support Workers to support adults with learning disabilities and autism in a supported living environment across Hertfordshire.
Key Responsibilities
As a Waking Night Support Worker, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the safety, comfort, and wellbeing of the people we support throughout the night. You'll provide emotional reassurance, practical support, and respond to any needs that arise during night hours. This will include:
* Provide overnight support tailored to individual needs
* Monitor and respond to health, safety, and wellbeing concerns
* Maintain accurate records and handovers
* Promote independence and dignity in all aspects of care
* Work closely with colleagues, families, and external professionals
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
* No prior experience required—just a genuine commitment to empowering others
* Ability to remain calm, alert, and responsive during night shifts
* Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
* Willingness to work weekdays, weekends, and bank holidays
* A full UK Manual driving licence is essential
