About the role
Two of the most exciting Hotels in Edinburgh – Malmaison Edinburgh City and Malmaison Edinburgh – are looking for an experienced Cluster Sales Manager to drive the sales strategy in the city. Malmaison Edinburgh City is a luxury boutique hotel in the centre of Edinburgh with 72 bedrooms and suites, Chez Mal Brasserie and Bar, and a private dining room. Malmaison Edinburgh, the original hotel, is set in historic Leith waterfront and offers flexible meeting and event space, 100 bedrooms including suites, and Chez Mal Brasserie and Bar. Together they provide an amazing opportunity to sell two fabulous hotels to the Edinburgh market and beyond.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead a small proactive sales team focused on corporate and group rooms, meetings and events.
* Collaborate with General Managers to produce and maintain Sales and Marketing plans for both hotels.
* Analyse performance, negotiate, organise and communicate to achieve sales targets.
* Develop and execute strategies to grow market share in the Edinburgh market.
Qualifications
* Proven background within a hotel sales environment.
* Strong negotiation, organisational and communication skills.
* Analytical mindset and ability to work beyond a typical 9‑5 office schedule.
* Knowledge of the Edinburgh market is desirable.
