£90 - £100 per day | Full-Time | Temporary
Location: St Albans, Hertfordshire
An exciting opportunity is available right now for a dedicated and resilient 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join an Outstanding primary school in St Albans. This role is starting ASAP and offers the chance to make a genuine, lasting impact on a child who needs consistent, compassionate support.
You will play a vital role in helping a KS2 pupil thrive both academically and emotionally, working closely on a one-to-one basis while being an active part of a supportive classroom team.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver focused 1:1 support tailored to the pupil's individual needs
Encourage engagement, confidence, and emotional wellbeing
Support positive behaviour and learning routines
Work closely with the class teacher and wider school staff
Contribute to classroom activities and learning across the curriculum
Promote independence, resilience, and positive relationships
The Ideal Candidate Will:
Have experience supporting children with additional or behavioural needs
Be calm, patient, resilient, and nurturing
Be genuinely passionate about making a difference
Build strong, trusting relationships quickly
Be flexible and willing to support across the classroom when required
Work effectively as part of a collaborative team
