Job Purpose:
To provide accurate, timely financial information and business insights that support strategic decision-making across the business.
The role is critical in budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and management reporting, ensuring financial control and performance tracking in a fast-growing, technology-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and deliver monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow.
* Conduct detailed variance analysis with commentary for senior stakeholders.
* Deliver timely information to Group for predetermined submission deadlines.
* Develop and maintain KPIs relevant to performance (e.g., customer acquisition costs, churn rate, LTV).
* Identify cost-saving opportunities and assess the financial impact of new projects or products.
* Contribute to pricing and profitability analysis.
* Foster strong relationships with the wider business to ensure alignment product, marketing, and operations teams.
* Assist with statutory accounts and external audits.
* Ensure financial records are compliant with relevant standards and internal controls.
* Leverage fintech systems (e.g., PowerBi, Xero, Anaplan) to automate and improve reporting within finance and wider teams use.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
* Prior experience essential.
* Qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent).
* Knowledge of regulatory environments (e.g., FCA compliance) is a plus.
* Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Highly motivated and results-oriented individual with a "can-do" attitude.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise deliverables.
