Job Summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 4 Divisional PA within the Cancer and Diagnostics Division based across Colchester & Ipswich Hospitals
This post is fixed term / secondment to cover maternity leave until 31st January 2027.
Although cross-site this role includes the ability to work flexibly & remotely when appropriate, consideration will be given tohome working for part of the week.
You will be required to provide efficient and pro-active secretarial/admin support to the Divisional Management team and senior team members within the Division.
We are looking to appoint a motivated and enthusiastic individual who has excellent personal assistant, organisational, administrative and interpersonal skills, and a high level knowledge of Microsoft Office software, i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel etc.
You will need to be organised with the ability to manage competing demands on a daily basis.
The role involves a wide range of administrative tasks, including diary management, email management and providing a comprehensive secretarial service.
Main duties of the job
Be responsible for the day-to-day planning and prioritising of workload, being proactive in supporting the divisional leadership team.
Take a proactive approach in planning and be responsible for organising meetings, conferences, events management.
Be responsible for monitoring stock within the divisional leadership team, using electronic systems to ensure all orders are processed correctly.
Be responsible for ensuring all specified tasks are completed within the agreed timeframe.
To assist with project planning development and implementation stages if appropriate.
Organize, support and coordinate the Divisional Board including agenda preparation and dissemination, report gathering, minute taking, support the Divisional Communications strategy.
