What's involved with this role: Job Title: Customer Service Admin Adviser - Carnival Team REF: K&C 5272038 Pay rate: £17.73 per hour PAYE Basic DBS is needed for this role The role: On behalf of a local council, we are seeking two temporary Carnival Line Customer Service Advisors to join the team. The advisors will support the management of customer contact through various channels, including telephone, email, and face-to-face interactions. This role is essential to handle the increased volume of customer inquiries for the dedicated Carnival line. The successful candidates will be working on the Carnival line and will be responsible for responding to various Carnival-related queries. These inquiries will include, but are not limited to, waste collections, basement cleaning requests, and parking suspensions. Key Responsibilities: Respond promptly and professionally to inquiries relating to the Carnival, including Waste collection schedules and special arrangements, Basement and street cleaning requests and Parking suspension information Provide clear, accurate, and friendly advice to residents, businesses, and visitors Record, escalate, or resolve service requests using internal systems Support the wider customer service team during peak periods Ensure all interactions reflect the council's commitment to high-quality public service What the client is looking for: Experience in customer service, ideally in a public-facing or call centre environment Excellent verbal and written communication skills Confidence in handling a variety of inquiries with patience and professionalism Ability to work under pressure and remain calm during busy periods Familiarity with local authority services is desirable but not essential How to Apply Quote the Job Title and Reference Number in your application.
