The Queen Elizabeth Academy is seeking an organized and flexible Teaching Assistant and Librarian. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Teaching Assistant who wants to make a difference in a “Good” school.
This role involves working under the guidance of designated teaching/senior staff to undertake work, care, and support programs, enabling access to learning for pupils and assisting the teacher in managing pupils and the classroom. The role also includes responsibilities as a Librarian.
The ideal candidate will have a good basic education, including GCSE English and Maths or equivalent, and previous experience working with children.
Why choose The Queen Elizabeth Academy? The academy is an 11-16 mixed school in Atherstone with approximately 715 pupils. Following our Ofsted inspection in June 2022, we retained our “Good” rating. Ofsted highlighted our pupils as respectful, supportive, well-behaved, proud of their school, and enjoying their learning environment. We continue to develop as we aim for excellence.
Since moving into new premises in November 2016, we have access to excellent facilities that set us apart locally.
