Location: Bracknell, Berkshire
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-time, Term Time Only
Hours: 40 hours per week
Salary: £36,000 - 41,000 per annum; depending on experience level
Start Date: December 2025 (or as soon as possible thereafter)

The Role
As the Designated Safeguarding Lead, you will oversee all aspects of safeguarding and child protection, ensuring robust policies, effective systems, and a consistent, proactive approach across the school. You will work closely with the Senior Leadership Team, staff, and external agencies to promote the highest standards of welfare and student wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and develop safeguarding procedures and policy implementation.
* Manage referrals, concerns, and multi‑agency communications.
* Deliver safeguarding training and guidance to all staff.
* Provide pastoral care and support for students with complex needs.
* Monitor safeguarding trends and maintain accurate records.
