Autism Support Assistant (Full Time, Temporary/Permanent)

£92.56 - £105 per day (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications )
Starting: September 2026 or As Soon As Possible
The School and Role
Autism Support Assistants are required across ASC specialist SEND settings in Hereford, supporting pupils with autism and communication needs. You will work within structured routines, sensory-based learning environments and provide consistent behaviour support.
Requirements
The desired Autism Support Assistant will have;
1. Understanding of autism or willingness to learn
2. Experience in care, education or support roles desirable
3. Calm and consistent approach
4. Strong communication skills
5. A proactive attitude
