This is an exciting opportunity to join our established Maternity Education Team. We are passionate about planning and providing quality training to our multi-disciplinary workforce to improve the quality and safety of our Maternity Service.
Main duties of the job
* Fulfill objectives outlined in the Maternity Incentive Scheme (CNST) and other key reports such as Ockenden and Kirkup, while embedding local priorities.
* Deliver training through various methods (Simulation, problem-based learning, workshops, PowerPoint, etc.) to the multidisciplinary team.
* Provide examples of clinical excellence and innovation.
* Participate in relevant meetings to promote the importance of education and share key messages.
* Collaborate with the governance team to ensure local and meaningful learning.

Working for our organisation
The Family Division aims to deliver high standards of care for maternity, sexual health, gynaecology, and a range of children’s services in both acute and community settings.
We are a Centre of Excellence for Women’s and Children’s services, serving over 6,000 births and performing around 1,500 gynaecological procedures annually. We are a specialist provider for women, babies, and families in the North West Sector of Manchester and beyond.
Bolton, with approximately 6,000 births per year, is a ‘Supercentre’ providing high-quality, compassionate care to women in Bolton, Bury, Salford, and surrounding areas.
Recent improvements have focused on safe and compassionate care, creating more opportunities for learning and career development.
