EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW
Our Strategic Asset Planning Team has an opportunity for a Strategic Asset Manager – Sewerage. In this role, you will enhance understanding of waste network asset life, deterioration, and performance through data analysis. You will also translate insights into asset class strategies and investment protocols for long, medium, and short-term plans.
You’ll collaborate to produce regulatory submissions, including the Business Plan for the Price Review. We seek a candidate with a desire to utilize innovation and creative thinking to drive improvement.
Some of Your Other Key Accountabilities Will Include
* Relay plans to internal stakeholders and actively engage with them at various organizational levels, including frontline staff, departmental heads, Directors, and the Board.
* Incorporate the latest data, industry insights, and best practices into strategies, staying updated on advancements in waste network management.
* Represent our company in industry groups coordinated by Water UK and UKWIR, establishing and nurturing external networks, participating in forums, conferences, and initiatives to develop policies aligned with our vision.
What You’ll Bring To The Role
Knowledge of relevant industry acts, including the Water Industry Act 1991, Environment Act 2021, and Flood and Water Management Act 2010.
Ability to communicate at all levels, with experience in strategy development, business planning, risk management, financial planning, and asset management best practices.
Capability to define and solve complex problems through data analysis and effective communication, with skills to prepare technical reports and compelling business cases.
Full UK driving license is required as travel is involved.
