Responsibilities of the Assistant Service Manager include:
8. Supporting the management of the Service Department to ensure exceptional customer experience
9. Driving daily operations to optimise workflow and resource utilisation
10. Supervising and motivating the Service Advisors and operational team
11. Ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards
12. Building strong relationships with customers, addressing their needs effectively
13. Ensuring high levels of service quality and customer satisfaction
14. Assisting in the implementation of sales strategies to meet departmental targets
15. Managing daily stock and parts processes efficiently
Requirements for the Assistant Service Manager:
16. Proven experience as a Service Manager, Senior Service Advisor, Commercial Service Manager, or Assistant Service Manager within the automotive industry
17. Strong customer focus with excellent communication skills
18. Ability to lead and motivate a team
19. Knowledge of dealership operations and industry standards
20. Organised with good planning and operational skills
21. Passionate about delivering excellent customer service and achieving results
22. Live within a reasonable distance to Manchester
