SilverTech is looking for an Account Manager to join our team and drive strong, lasting client relationships. In this role, you’ll manage day-to-day communications, build rapport with client contacts, and advocate for both client goals and internal processes. You’ll deliver value by offering strategic recommendations, introducing new services and features, and helping solve critical business challenges. The ideal candidate will thrive Requirements Key point of contact for the client and internal leadership. Organize the client facing status of all projects through the use of available tools, templates and technologies and engage in regular communication/meetings with your clients. Coordinate and lead all client meetings including necessary team members. Attend internal status meetings or meet with project managers to prepare for external client meetings. Take detailed notes during client meetings which include action items that can be understood by the project team and deliver these within 24 hours. Manage client expectations through proactive communication and scope management. This may include modifying the originally sold scope to better align to the customer needs as we engage and learn more about overall goals, budgets, and requirements. Ensure the successful completion and/or resolution of all client requests in a timely manner. Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships. Maintain high levels of client satisfaction and retention rates. Understand the client’s business goals and objectives in order to act as a strategic partner and proactively plan how we can help them achieve their goals. Forecast and track key account metrics on a weekly/daily basis. Seek opportunities to upsell and cross-sell clients to broaden the overall agency/client relationship (i.e.; SEO, PPC, content creation and other ongoing services) Prepare reports on account status in order to effectively manage up to leadership. Build and maintain a relationship with internal teams such as Project Management, Strategy, Digital Marketing and Engineering. Approach account management with an eye for amazing customer service and how to generate organic growth opportunities. Participate in new business pitches when necessary. Grow accounts year over year based on goals assigned by leadership. Remain current on partner available training and certifications such as sales or marketing certifications. Clear understanding and ability to provide CMS training or demo’s for the current platforms supported by SilverTech. Responsible for keeping projects within scope based on information provided by the project team and having conversations with clients when applicable. Expand SilverTech’s reach and influence within each account. Provide strategic oversight on all engagements to ensure results are aligned with client’s vision and goals. Cover PM responsibilities when they are out on PTO. Facilitate meetings with strategy to develop project plans relating to retainer backlogs. Responsible for the development and delivery of change requests. Ensure quality assurance of all deliverables before passing over to the client. Manage multiple clients at any given time. What you Need to Succeed BS/BA in marketing, business management, communications or related field or equivalent experience. Minimum 5 years of experience in account management or account servicing position, ideally in the agency or digital space Basic understanding of web technologies, website development and/or CMS is a plus. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Know how to build a client presentation and have confidence presenting it. Comfort with a face-paced environment and managing multiple work streams. Comfortable working with key stakeholders at all levels of an organization (internally and externally), including executive and C-level. Strong understanding of common business challenges.
