Why you’ll love it here * A respected business with over £60m turnover and a track record of excellence * A broad project portfolio across prisons, commercial, super prime residential, leisure and stadiums * A collaborative culture—no corporate nonsense, just professional trust and high standards * The chance to shape complex delivery strategies, manage talented teams, and leave a lasting legacy on every scheme * A leadership role with the autonomy to do things properly You’ll be responsible for: * Driving MEP delivery with clear direction, professional leadership, and a focus on compliance with the highest standards * Managing programmes, safety, quality, commercial performance, and commissioning across large, technically challenging projects * Building strong relationships with clients, consultants, trade contractors, and internal stakeholders * Leading the tendering process and providing strategic technical and commercial input to bids and proposals * Shaping procurement strategies and ensuring packages are procured, scoped, and delivered to budget * Overseeing design reviews, ensuring compliance, coordination, and completeness across disciplines and sustainability objectives * Steering delivery strategies and commissioning plans, including IST, ATPs, and Soft Landings * Applying digital tools to track progress, assess productivity, and identify risks early * Driving close-out to the highest standards—including commissioning, as-built documentation, and client training * Proactively identifying risks and developing mitigation plans * Leading a large team, providing coaching, technical development, and performance management * Championing continuous improvement and sharing lessons learned across the business * Supporting the net zero carbon transition with proactive emissions management You’ll need to have: * Advanced knowledge of MEP systems design, prefabrication, installation, and commissioning * Deep understanding of sequencing, dependencies, and collaborative delivery in large-scale projects * Strong commercial acumen—procurement, forecasting, risk management, and cost control * Exceptional understanding of health, safety, and welfare standards * Experience delivering major projects with M&E values of £20m * SMSTS and Black CSCS card * A track record of successful delivery in sectors such as custodial, commercial, high-end residential, leisure or stadiums * Formal engineering training (HNC, HND, BTEC or equivalent) You’ll also bring: * Confident leadership in high-pressure environments * A collaborative mindset and ability to motivate teams toward shared goals * Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills * A commitment to high standards, innovation, and continuous improvement Ready to set the standard on landmark projects and lead a talented team to success?
