About us: The Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) team looks for a talented student to gain experience in this diverse function. This role is based at the Broughton site with interaction with the UK and global EHS organisation. Airbus is committed to sustainability and the journey towards clean aerospace, decarbonised aviation, net-zero emissions, and carbon-neutral activities. The role covers Safety, Occupational Health and Wellbeing, Environment, and Industrial Hygiene, and involves deploying our wider EHS activities and sustainability improvements. The UK EHS team also covers the Filton site with potential travel and engagement with transnational colleagues.
What you will be doing:
* Provide support to and gain experience of all daily aspects of all functions within EHS and its customer base
* Work with the teams that EHS supports to drive improvements and synergies
* Engage in various Multi Functional Teams, such as sustainability, that EHS supports or leads
* Identify and develop improvements to EHS communication channels
* Support the development, implementation and best use of electronic reporting and monitoring tools
* Support the research, delivery and evaluation of internal communication campaigns
Requirements
Eligibility: Our placements are open to Undergraduates only. It is mandatory to be an undergraduate for the whole duration of the placement. Please inform your graduation date on your application.

Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate the following:
* Studying towards a degree in an Environmental field, Geography, or equivalent
* Basic IT Systems (presentation and graphics)
* Ability to communicate with internal and external audiences
* Basic awareness of stakeholder, brand and reputation management
* Be inquisitive, enthusiastic, driven and confident
* Ability to work well in a team
* Self-motivated and able to use initiative
* Excellent writing skills
* Comfort communicating verbally with stakeholders at all levels
Security clearance: You will be subject to a BPSS check. You may also need to gain UK SC-level Security Clearance or Export Control, depending on the role.
