Job type: Permanent Location: Wrightbus Closing date: Tuesday 02 Jun 2026 08:00 The Role: Manage assigned projects or workstreams within a larger programme, aligned to agreed objectives and plans. Support the Programme Manager in the planning, execution, and delivery of programme activities. Deliver agreed milestones to schedule, budget, and quality targets. Coordinate cross-functional activities across Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Sales, Aftermarket, and other stakeholders as required. Act as the primary point of contact for day-to-day delivery issues within allocated scope. Prepare and maintain project plans, schedules, actions, and status updates. Produce regular project-level reports covering progress, risks, issues, and changes for review by the Programme Manager. Identify, manage, and escalate risks, issues, and dependencies in line with programme governance processes. Support programme governance activities, including gate reviews, design reviews, and customer meetings where required. Manage change requests within delegated authority and escalate where programme-level approval is required. Ensure customer and stakeholder requirements are understood and addressed within assigned scope. Support bid, tender, and quotation activities by providing project-level input where requested. Assist in resolving technical, operational, and delivery challenges with support from senior team members. Capture lessons learned and contribute to continuous improvement of programme delivery practices. Work closely with the Programme Manager to ensure alignment with overall programme priorities and interdependencies. Engage with suppliers and internal functions to support delivery requirements within delegated responsibility. Ensure adherence to ISO 9001, internal governance frameworks, and relevant regulatory requirements Requirements: HND in Engineering (or equivalent) or Diploma in Manufacturing / engineering Demonstrate a minimum of 3 years working experience as a project manager Experience in resource planning. Demonstratable experience in budget preparation and control. Experience working in a manufacturing environmen Proficiency in preparing timelines, managing, and reporting on projects utilising MS Project / Excel.
