Time-Served Sheet Metal Worker / Welder Fabricator Location: Altham S alary: Dependant on experience We are currently recruiting for a skilled and experienced Time-Served Sheet Metal Worker / Welder Fabricator to join our growing and dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated tradesperson who takes pride in high-quality workmanship and enjoys working on a variety of fabrication projects, both in the workshop and on-site. Key Responsibilities Fabricate, assemble, and weld sheet metal and structural components from engineering drawings Carry out MIG, TIG and/or MMA welding to a high standard Measure, cut, bend, and shape materials using workshop machinery and hand tools Interpret technical drawings and work independently to complete tasks Perform finishing processes including grinding, polishing, and dressing welds Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality and specification standards Maintain a clean, safe working environment in line with health & safety procedures Requirements Time-served apprenticeship in Sheet Metal Work, Fabrication, or Welding Proven experience in a similar role Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings Experience with MIG/TIG welding processes Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to work independently and as part of a team Proactive approach with good problem-solving skills Desirable (Not Essential) Experience working with stainless steel, aluminium, and mild steel OEM build and assembly experience Mechanical fitting experience Experience operating fabrication machinery (press brakes, guillotines, rollers) What We Offer Regular overtime opportunities 4-day working week Flexible working hours 33 days holiday per year Opportunities to work on-site (regional & worldwide) Supportive and friendly team environment Ongoing training and career development opportunities How to Apply If youre a skilled and motivated Sheet Metal Worker / Welder Fabricator looking for your next opportunity, wed love to hear from you. ??
