📢We are looking for multiple candidates for Mobile Cleansing Operative 📢
📍Honiton
🗓️ Monday-Friday – To start immediately until February
💰£13.69ph
General Responsibilities:
1. Routine Cleansing (Street bin emptying, cleaning of public toilets, litter picking) of assigned round and/or seasonal grounds maintenance
2. Grass cutting and strimming
3. Hedge cutting and pruning
4. Digging, bedding and planting
5. Hoeing and weeding
6. Sweeping the footpaths and channels as necessary
7. Clearing beaches of litter and detritus
8. Using mechanical plant, equipment and vehicles to assist teams throughout the district as directed.
9. Provide excellent customer service and uphold health and safety standards
What We’re Looking For
10. Ability to read, write, and use a smartphone or handheld device
11. Attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines
12. Team player who can also work independently
13. Professional approach when dealing with the public
14. Practical experience in cleansing (essential) and grounds maintenance (desirable)
15. Valid driving licence (essential); C1/C1E or C licence desirable
16. Right to work in the UK and ability to pass a Basic Disclosure check
17. Required Hi-Viz and safety shoes
