Job Description
Join our team as a Chef at our residential training facility, where you'll work in a supportive and collaborative environment to deliver high-quality culinary experiences. Whether you're starting your culinary career or an experienced chef seeking better work-life balance, this role offers a rare opportunity.
Enjoy a typical week with two 12-hour shifts and three 6-hour shifts, with breaks and a meal provided on longer days. There is also occasional voluntary weekend work, which is paid overtime.
Your responsibilities include preparing, cooking, and serving three meals to up to 170 visitors daily. You'll have the opportunity to explore fine dining and showcase your culinary creativity by designing new recipes and menus.
This customer-facing role involves interacting with visitors and working with a team to ensure excellent service and care.
Preferred candidates will hold a C&G/NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in food preparation and cooking, be team players, proactive, and committed to excellent customer service.
We provide a structured induction and mentorship from our Head Chef and Kitchen Manager. We support your personal development through courses, work experience, or qualifications—share your aspirations with us.
