Teaching Assistant – Special Educational Needs Support (Year 4) – Partington
Start Date: After October Half Term
Full-Time: 8:30am – 3:30pm
Teaching Personnel is partnering with a well-regarded primary school in Partington that is actively seeking a Teaching Assistant to provide targeted support for Year 4 pupils with various Special Educational Needs (SEN). The Role:
* Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils with SEN to help them achieve their learning targets
* Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering tailored educational activities
* Support the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
* Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment that encourages all pupils to thrive
* Collaborate with teaching staff and external professionals to support the holistic development of pupils
Essential Qualifications and Skills
* Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
* Relevant experience working with children with SEN
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively within a team environment
* Level 2 Safeguarding qualification (training can be provided if needed)
