Do you have time-served experience or an equivalent qualification in an engineering discipline such as HVAC, piping, or electrical? Can you describe your previous project commissioning experience, including your role in testing activities and the types of systems you have worked on? Are you currently certified in IOSH Working Safely or an equivalent health and safety qualification? The Opportunity The ideal candidate is a technically skilled Commissioning Technician with hands-on experience in mechanical commissioning activities within regulated and safety-critical environments. Reporting to the Commissioning Engineer, this person performs testing across all commissioning stages but does not have supervisory responsibility. They ensure safety remains the top priority, striving for Zero Harm, especially in nuclear or radiological settings. 40 hours per week - Shift pattern has potential to go to 4 days on, 4 days off, 4 nights on, 4 nights off. You must be able to obtain BPSS Clearance and P4 Pass. Your duties and responsibilities will be * Ensuring Safety is the highest priority on the project with a continued strive towards Zero Harm. He ensures that he is a role model for all aspects of safety, ensuring a proactive approach to nuclear, radiological, conventional and environmental safety * Carrying out all testing activities throughout all stages of commissioning * Contributing to the production of test documentation * Contributing to the initiation and implementation of FOBs and TQs * Performing testing activities for witnessing by third parties * Application and removal of Temporary Commissioning Aids * Contributing to the recording of supporting data in accordance with test requirements * Ability to utilise completions management systems to manage commissioning activities * Ability to perform commissioning work against a project schedule * Ability to take part in multi discipline design reviews and work with the engineering team You will have the following qualifications & experience * Time served or equivalent in an engineering discipline e.g. HVAC, piping or electrical discipline * Preference for ONC or equivalent or route to achieve the qualification * Project commissioning experience * IOSH Working Safely or equivalent Design Tools/Software * Go Completions * Microsoft suite Get in touch now If you're passionate about technology, delivering exceptional service, and making a meaningful impact across a global organisation, we encourage join our clients dedicated Engineering Team so apply today or contact Mark Wilkins.
