Job ref: 25105 Job type: Temporary Location: Horizon House - Community Salary: Band 5 (£36,483 pro rata / £18.65 per hour(Mileage rates ap) Closing date: Monday 29 Sep 2025 16:00 Job summary Post: Childrens Staff Nurses - Hospice at Home/IPU Salary: Band 5 - £36,483 pro rata / £18.65 per hour (Mileage rates apply) Contract: Bank Location: This is a combined role based between Community and Horizon House IPU (*Community refers to Northern, South Eastern and Southern Health & Social Care Trust Areas but will be primarily community based) Role The Staff Nurse will work predominantly in the child's own home within the trust but will also be required to work in the Children's IPU. He/she will participate in the assessment, planning and delivery of care to the children and the delegation of care to non-registered members of the care team promoting a philosophy of holistic care and active engagement of children and families. The role will include both day and night duty. The Organisation The Northern Ireland Hospice is a local charity offering specialist respite, symptom management and end of life palliative care to infants, children, and adults across Northern Ireland.
