Role Details
The Enterprise Applications Specialist bridges the gap between business needs and technology solutions within Vinarchy’s systems. Working closely with IT Operations, IT Solutions, and external support partners, this role analyses requirements, designs functional solutions, and facilitates implementations and enhancements. It requires strong technical understanding of business processes, data analysis, and integration flows to identify root causes and deliver optimal solutions.
Your Key Accountabilities
Solution Design & Analysis
• Collaborate with the IT Solutions and IT Operations to gather and analyse requirements across IBP, ERP, workflows, and integration platforms.
• Translate business needs into functional and non functional specifications and propose optimal solutions aligned with best practice principles.
• Document technical process flows and maintain accurate solution design artefacts.
• Review and recommend improvements for ERP and integration processes to enhance efficiency and scalability.
Configuration & Implementation
• Configure and customise systems to meet specific business process needs, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
• Work with support partners to implement solutions using standard release frameworks.
• Ensure all changes adhere to governance and compliance standards.
• Perform System Enhancements: Execute IT system enhancements based on gathered requirements to improve functionality and performance.
• Developing Custom Programs: Create customised programs, scripts, and ERP configurations to meet business need
• Support delivery through the full lifecycle, from discovery through to implementation
Testing & Quality Assurance
• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and scenarios to validate system functionality.
• Identify and document defects, working closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
• Maintain a knowledge base of previous faults and resolutions for future reference.
Incident & Problem Management
• Provide support for major incident management processes, including root cause analysis and resolution of functional issues.
• Troubleshoot integration flows and backend systems to identify root causes of issues.
• Offer out-of-hours support when required for critical incidents or releases.
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
• Lead discussions with functional managers and IT teams to ensure clarity on requirements and solutions.
• Communicate complex technical issues in a clear and concise manner to non-technical stakeholders.
• Manage relationships with third-party providers and outsourced support partners effectively.
Continuous Improvement & Governance
• Contribute to ongoing improvement initiatives for enterprise systems and integration processes.
• Ensure compliance with organisational standards, security policies, and change management frameworks.
• Support knowledge sharing and coaching within the IT Solutions team to build capability.
Your Knowledge and Skills
• Strong understanding of business processes and IT services in a commercial setting.
• Experience with ERP systems, IBP processes, and integration flows.
• Familiarity with service management tools (e.g., Ivanti) and outsourced support models.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to generate innovative solutions.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills at all levels.
• Ability to work independently, prioritise effectively, and perform under pressure.
• Demonstrates commercial awareness and strategic thinking - able to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Tertiary qualification in Information Technology or a related discipline desirable but not required.
Essential Qualifications
• Minimum 2+ years as a Solution or Functional Analyst support enterprise systems
Physical and Other Requirements
• Some business travel may be required from time to time
• Occasional after-hours work may be required to engage with stakeholders and team members across time zones
• Hybrid working arrangement with at least three days in the office
