Health Care Assistant, Dermatology Service - Paul
A fantastic opportunity to join our Community Dermatology Service as a Healthcare Assistant around East Coastal Kent area.
This role is ideal for somebody who enjoys working independently, while being a part of a supportive and friendly team, working together to make a difference to how health services are delivered to patients.
An ideal candidate would have previous experience as Healthcare Assistant in a GP practice, hospital, or any other clinical setting with a passion for making the patient journey as comfortable as possible.
Following full training, you will be supporting our dermatologists and nurses in face-to-face clinics as well as assisting with minor procedures, you may also conduct your own medical photography clinics where you will complete questionnaires with patients and take some specialised images.
There are 16 hours per week available on a Tuesday and Thursday.You will be working based on the rota with clinics starting as early as 8 am and finishing as late as 6pm.

* You will be working within our Dermatology Services based in our East Coastal KentClinics.
* This is a Part-Time role working 16 hours per week, over 2 days.
* Locations, you will never be assigned more than one location a day.
o Broadstairs Health Centre, CT10 2AJ
o Dover Health Centre, CT16 1RH
o Sturry Surgery, CT2 0EF
* Ordering supplies and equipment.
* Maintaining a tidy clinic that is always full stocked.
* Explaining to patients what will take place during their appointment.
* Undertaking tasks and duties delegated by the clinical and management teams.
* Providing care for the patient whilst maintaining a safe and clean environment.
* Ensuring patient comfort, dignity and privacy are always maintained and are specific to the patients’ needs.
* To support a high-quality clerical and clinical support service, entering patient data into computer systems, always ensuring attention to detail.
* Being professional, timely and reliable.
* Ensuring confidentiality is always adhered to.
* Entering notes onto electronical patient records
* Proficient use of Computer Software Systems, Microsoft Office ( Word, Excel)
