We are looking for an Ecologist to join a multi-disciplinary company in Exeter. As an Ecologist, you will play a critical role in the existing team, working alongside landscape architects and arboriculturalists. Your insights and expertise will guide projects through ecological surveys, assessments, and innovative environmental management solutions.
The company works on a range of large and small projects in residential and commercial sectors across the South West. They offer flexible working arrangements, including options to work from home or from the office.
Key responsibilities for this role include:
* Conducting surveys for various protected species,
* Preparing Ecological Impact Assessments (EIA),
* Writing ecological reports such as Preliminary Ecological Appraisals (PEA), Preliminary Roost Assessments (PRA), EIAs, and EcIAs,
* Liaising with clients, project managers, and stakeholders.
