About The Role
ClwydAlyn Property Maintenance is looking for an Approved Electrician to join our Electrical Team. In this role, you’ll deliver high-quality electrical installations, testing, and repairs across domestic and commercial properties, ensuring our homes and workplaces remain safe, compliant, and fit for the future. As an Approved Electrician, you will:
* Carry out electrical installations, upgrades, testing, and repairs, including responsive and emergency works.
* Complete Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) and all relevant certification to a high standard.
* Work independently to diagnose and resolve faults safely and efficiently.
* Participate in a planned upgrade programme, including kitchens, bathrooms, heating, and void properties.
* Contribute to a resident-focused service, reflecting ClwydAlyn’s values of Trust, Hope, and Kindness.
* Support and mentor colleagues or apprentices when required.
* Accurately maintain electronic certification and job records.
* Take part in a rotating on-call schedule (currently 1 week in 7) with additional remuneration.
About You
This role is ideal for a qualified electrician who:
* Holds a Level 3 NVQ in Electrical Installation (or equivalent) and AM2
* Has City & Guilds 2382 (BS7671:2018) and City & Guilds 2391-52 (Inspection & Testing)
* Has at least two years’ post‑qualification experience
* Is confident working independently and supervising others when needed
* Understands and applies Health & Safety standards consistently
* Shares our values of Trust, Hope and Kindness in daily work
* Desirable: qualifications in Solar PV, EV Charging, Energy Storage, or in‑date PASMA/IPAF training
