Capgemini Engineering are looking to recruit Stress Engineers with knowledge of non-conformance within an aerospace/marine engineering background.

Non-conformance Stress Engineer within the Capgemini Engineering Stress Engineering department
• Assessing impact of an item of non-conformance on suitability to meet component requirements and the impact on performance at system level
• Sentence a concession or repair with a rational and justified engineering statement
• Perform FE analysis provide in depth findings
• Assessing Engineering drawings
• Applying manufacturing and quality specifications and assigning notes
• Carrying out various types of analysis based on the above, i.e. static stress, fatigue, life assessments, optimisation, etc.
• At Capgemini building an inclusive future is part of everyday life and will be part of your working reality. Educated to degree level (or equivalent) in an engineering or scientific discipline, ideally mechanical
• Experience of stress engineering for airframe or aero-engine systems and all associated components required
• Team player, able to work effectively and to short timescales with others in a busy engineering centre
• Excellent communication skills with a good level of verbal and written English
