Associate Planner

My client is looking for an Associate Town Planner to join their team in Liverpool. As an Associate Planner you will play a key role in managing planning projects, providing expert advice, and building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders. With offices across the UK, you will be working on a range of projects across various sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage a portfolio of planning projects from inception to completion
2. Provide expert planning advice to clients and stakeholders
3. Prepare and submit planning applications, appeals, and other related documents
4. Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies
5. Liaise with local authorities, agencies, and other relevant parties
6. Mentor and support junior staff members
7. Stay up-to-date with planning legislation and industry trends
Requirements:
8. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Urban Planning, Geography, or related field
9. Chartered Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI)
10. Strong knowledge of planning legislation and regulations
11. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
12. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
13. Proficient in Microsoft Office and planning software
