South Coast | Leading regional practice | Broad commercial and IP focus A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Lawyer to join the Commercial team of a well-established regional firm with offices across the South Coast. The firm's commercial practice is one of the most active in the region, advising a diverse client base across IP, IT, and wider commercial matters. This role will involve a combination of intellectual property and commercial work, including overseeing an in-house trade mark practice and handling a broad range of IP-related agreements. You'll also be involved in drafting and negotiating software licensing, IT services, distribution, agency, and franchise agreements, as well as advising clients on the creation, protection, and commercialisation of intellectual property rights. The successful candidate will have a minimum of five years' PQE and a solid grounding in both IP and commercial law. Experience of trade mark prosecution work is essential, and exposure to international matters would be a distinct advantage. You'll also have the opportunity to contribute to the firm's dispute resolution work, advising on the merits of IP-related disputes and supporting litigation where required. This is a senior position within a collaborative and well-regarded team. You'll be expected to play an active role in mentoring junior colleagues and supporting business development through writing, speaking, and client engagement.
