CCL Global are recruiting for a Lead Civil Engineer to join a major nuclear new build project in Bristol, working on the detailed design of the Sizewell C EPR nuclear plant. The Lead Civil Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the production and delivery of detailed civil engineering designs as part of a dynamic, expert team shaping the future of UK nuclear energy.

Key Duties will include:
* Oversee and coordinate the timely delivery of engineering designs, models, and documentation in line with contractual and quality standards.
* Lead and supervise building pilots and production teams, defining methodologies and implementing technical solutions for consistency across deliverables.
* Manage production teams on quality procedures, project objectives, schedules, costs, and risk reporting.
* Collaborate with discipline leads, designers, engineers, and stakeholders to optimize production efficiency and resolve technical challenges.
* Monitor progress, address blockers, and ensure adherence to project planning.
* Drive continuous improvement and knowledge sharing while ensuring compliance with nuclear industry standards.
* Act as the main point of contact for the client on production-related topics.
Requirements:
* MSc in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
* 7+ years’ experience in civil engineering design, with a strong focus on reinforced concrete structures.
* Proven track record delivering significant civil works projects/programmes on time and within budget.
* Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to working in fast-paced, multidisciplinary teams.
