The role of Assistant Housing Officer will include:
1. Drafting tenancy agreement documentation and completing all paperwork associated with home visits
2. Liaising with tenants; responding to enquiries and complaints
3. Working with customers to resolve issues and improve services
4. Preparing correspondence in relation to void properties
5. Communicating with external agencies in regard to tenancies
6. Raising purchase orders and ensuring the completion of cash sheets
7. Assisting Housing Officers and Manager with day to day tasks
Skills and experiences:
8. Recent experience within a customer service environment or administrative position
9. Previous experience of working in a Housing environment
10. Excellent customer service and communication skills
11. Ability to work on own initiative, with fast changing requirements
12. Proven experience of working to deadlines and prioritising workloads
13. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office - Outlook, Word and Excel (or similar)
14. Occasional travel may be requirement of the role, therefore a full valid driving licence is desirable
