The UK & ROI region employs 5,000 people across 13 locations, including nine manufacturing/distribution sites and four offices, serving as an anchor market.
What will this role achieve?
The UK & ROI has ambitious plans. Customer Finance acts as a dedicated business partner, helping build external relationships, improve internal value creation, and deepen understanding of consumer and trade dynamics to develop effective strategies. Your team will facilitate performance understanding, deliver insightful financial analysis, ensure rigorous financial controls, and support customer investment decisions.
The role reports to the Senior Customer Finance Manager and involves partnering with several accounts, reporting, and projects across the wider Customer team.
Key deliverables
* Develop a strong business partnering culture with account teams, providing challenge and valuable insights.
* Work with the Customer team to understand performance drivers and develop gap fill opportunities.
* Manage business performance diagnostics, planning processes, and monthly reviews.
* Support customer discussions through joint business plan evaluations and P&L modeling.
* Partner on total third-party business reporting.
* Lead process improvement initiatives and serve as subject matter expert for key investment frameworks.
* Manage terms, pricing, investment tracking, and P&L management of accruals.
* Implement evaluations of investments to optimize returns.
* Manage unsolicited deductions with Genpact and account teams.
Requirements
* Proven FMCG experience in Customer/Commercial Finance.
* Passion for business performance management and analytics.
* Strong collaboration and communication skills.
* Ability to influence and work across organizations.
* Adaptability in ambiguous and changing roles.
* Self-confidence and challenge skills.
* Strong financial and commercial competence (minimum 5 years).
* Advanced MS Excel, PowerPoint, and data analysis skills.
* Qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA).
