Role Overview
As part of the Indemnity Team, working as our Technical Specialist, you'll identify and process contractual breach claims to achieve optimal outcomes. Your responsibilities include investigating potential breaches, managing MIB claims, and handling specific peril losses.
Key Responsibilities:
* Triaging suspected contractual breach claims and assessing indemnity, including customer contact for clarification
* Initiating enquiries with relevant suppliers and evaluating evidence
* Deciding on indemnity and communicating outcomes
* Using analytics to identify riskier claims for proactive review
* Assessing referrals from Peril areas for new leads
* Handling a small portfolio of MIB claims and peril-specific losses for optimal financial outcomes
Essential Skills:
* Experience in handling motor insurance claims, including MIB claims and investigation processes
* Knowledge of indemnity principles, insurance contracts, Road Traffic Act, and MIB Articles of Association
* Attention to detail and problem-solving skills

* Competency-based interview with the hiring leader (2nd stage)
