Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a creative and passionate Art Teacher on behalf of a welcoming secondary school in Flintshire. This long-term role begins in September 2025, offering the opportunity to inspire and nurture students' artistic abilities in a supportive and engaging environment.
We are looking for a dynamic individual who can deliver imaginative lessons and foster a love of art and design across Key Stages 3 and 4.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver creative and engaging Art & Design lessons
Encourage self-expression, experimentation, and technical skill development
Monitor progress and provide constructive feedback to students
Support department planning, displays, and whole-school art initiatives
Requirements:
A recognised PGCE or equivalent secondary teaching qualification in Art & Design
Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) is essential
Strong subject knowledge with the ability to inspire creativity in pupils
Excellent classroom management and communication skills
